Guest: Bruce Macbryde, Clair Craigee, Martin Todd- Smith, Peter Cooper ( local Liberal Candidate) and Paul Sarks and last bulletin did not mention Paul’s attendance on the 5th August (sorry Paul)

President’s Report

New members are very important to the Club.  They are like a spark of new life and bring new energy and perspectives to the Club.  Paul and Bruce I congratulate you on you recent memberships your inputs will be invaluable.  The Raffle is about to start and I ask that we all share the load in this very important fund raising event.  Alex will be co-ordinating this and I thank him for this.

On the 2nd September the District Governor will be attending and next week we will take the time to prepare.  I would like the committees in a short space of time to report to the District Governor.  Friday next we are having time out

Our Speaker was Martin Todd Smith who made a presentation on the Back from a Physiotherapist point of view.

Treasurer: Indicated the Dues had been distributed.

Membership: Pam indicated the Golf Day is on 26th November.

Vocation: No Report.

Fundraising: Please note the up coming raffle.  Tom raised that there is to be a BBQ at IGa on the 21st August.
